Weather Cancellation Policy
Skating programs will be cancelled only when schools are closed. Cancellations will be posted on the school website www.skatinginkenora.com and on our Facebook page. Skating is rarely cancelled, however as a parent, it is your decision whether or not to bring your child to the rink if the roads are in poor condition.
Ice time that has been lost due to scheduled events (ie. hockey games) has been calculated into your program fee. For other unforeseen cancellations, the board will try to pick up extra sessions. These may not be on regular skating days, and may be added before Christmas or at the end of the skating season. Dates are dependent on when ice is available. It may not always be possible to make up cancelled sessions.
